gathering grebes
For a few weeks, there were three Western Grebes on the lake, now there are at least a dozen. Hard to get a good count when they are usually far away and frequently diving.

bald eagles
Wonderful to see eagles at the lake again! This pair on top of a stump on the far side of the lake.

flying fish
The lake level is down and a fish can be heard jumping every few seconds. Often enough that it is not too difficult to randomly capture a shot of a flying fish. Western grebes in the background here.
