Quinn McDonald posted an interesting challenge about Finding Poetry on Book Spines on her blog this morning. The idea is to compose found poetry using the titles by stacking the books and taking a photo. I started thinking about this completely by accident and soon I was hooked. I made a big mess pulling books from the shelves, but here are a few of my favorites:
Stars and planets, Heavens above
Inspiration odyssey On the surface
Walking in this world
Faces & Places, Landscapes & Illusions
Harmonies & Hurricanes Awash with colour
The visual dance
A quiet spirit Standing at water’s edge
Inspiring creativity When things fall apart
Trust the process
Ok, this is cool, it would be meet to leave a stack on your desk and see if anyone recognizes the poetic effort.
I like these!

These are wonderful. I’m especially fond of the last one, there is something about it that is both profound and touching.
